Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has entered a multi-year partnership with South Korean entertainment giant CJ ENM, aiming to bolster its HBO Max platform with Korean dramas and entertainment. The deal grants HBO Max subscribers access to CJ ENM's streaming service, Tving, across 17 markets, with a dedicated Tving hub launching in early 2026.

Despite the strategic move, Warner Bros. Discovery shares dipped slightly in late trading. The first content under this partnership, 'Dear X,' will debut on November 6. CEO David Zaslav emphasized the collaboration as a key step in delivering locally relevant stories to global audiences.
